What should NGSE participant insurance cover?
The insurance must start from the moment in which the Insured leaves his Residence/Domicile to undertake the Trip and ends when he returns there.

It must last up to a maximum of 3 months and include at least:

Reimbursement of medical expenses or their direct payment up to €250,000 Complete health assistance while traveling (emergency intervention, medical repatriation, interpreter, travel of a family member in case of hospitalisation…) Baggage insurance up to €1,000 Third party liability insurance (up to €250,000 for damage to people and things) Travel and/or flight injuries up to €100,000

An extension relating to cancellation can also be provided as an option,
with a ceiling of €10,000.

The calculations of the prizes are linked to the country in which you go and are calculated on the basis of the days of stay, with an amount per day.

There are some insurance companies that provide these covers, among which Europe Assistance and AXA are particularly specialized.
